From redesign to sales optimization at a leading Dutch energy provider.

Eneco.nl serves as the digital front door for one of the Netherlands' largest energy providers. The platform underwent a complete redesign to implement a new visual identity, followed by continuous improvement of all commercial touchpoints.

The redesign created a flexible foundation for data-driven optimization. Commercial decisions, from sales flow adjustments to campaign rollouts, were validated through A/B testing and measured against conversion targets.

Redesign

As part of a broader rebranding effort, I worked with a team of UX and UI designers to develop and implement a new visual style across Eneco.nl, contributing from concept through to platform-wide execution.

Business-critical touchpoints such as the homepage, sales flow and product pages became focal points of the redesign. The resulting style was built for flexibility, scalable enough to support Eneco's full range of products and services.

Sales optimization

After the redesign launched, I joined the multidisciplinary online sales team. We were responsible for all commercial expressions on the platform. This included the sales flows, product pages and campaign content.

Working to meet conversion targets, continuous optimisation became central to our approach. Using A/B testing we validated design decisions and measured the impact of changes on our performance. This allowed us to make data-driven improvements to the platform.


Campaigns

As a major consumer brand, Eneco regularly ran national television campaigns. Working closely with the marketing department, our team translated these broadcast concepts into digital experiences. Examples include 'Heel Nederland Schakelt Om' and 'Stukje Zon'. To meet our sales targets, we also developed online-only initiatives independently, such as the 'Wervel Wind Weken'.
